A Bit About Me

Attorney LaMothe has successfully represented individuals, classes of individuals and classes of businesses in numerous consumer protection, privacy, housing, insurance and employment actions.  He has handled several appeals and has argued before the Appellate Division of the District Court, the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.

From February, 2011 to October, 2019 Attorney LaMothe worked at The Law Offices of PIP Collect, LLC.  He also previously worked as a junior partner at Forrest, LaMothe, Mazow, McCullough, Yasi & Yasi, P.C. Matt successfully represented medical providers in actions against insurance companies for unpaid medical bills and secured favorable jury and bench trial verdicts in many of the cases he handled.

Attorney LaMothe's practice areas include Personal Injury Protection Litigation, Landlord Tenant Law, Consumer Protection Law, Class Action and Complex Business Litigation. 

He is both a presenter and member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Essex County Bar Association, and Greater Lynn Bar Association. Super Lawyers® recognized Matt as a top rated attorney each year from 2017 through 2023. 

Matt volunteers for lawyer of day programs and serves as the Treasurer of Board of Directors of Camp Fire North Shore.

Attorney LaMothe graduated Vermont Law School with a Juris Doctor and Fairfield University with a BA in philosophy. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts State and Federal Court.
